Beyond being a fun word to say… what does it mean?
From the days of Moses, God used a sacrifice, i.e. a lamb, to allow the guilt of His people to be forgiven, establishing relationship and fellowship between Himself and people.The promised Messiah, the Lamb of God, Jesus, took the place of this sacrifice once and forever paying for the sins of those who believe in God so they might be forgiven.
